Personal Infrastructure
Homelab
Primary Infrastructure
Proxmox Cluster
On-Demand Node
AMD Ryzen 5600
Powered on when I need more compute than the 24/7 tier can offer — heavier VMs, extra staging environments, or a burst of build capacity. Also runs as a remote gaming server via Apollo/Artemis when it's up.
24/7 Nodes × 2
Mac Mini 2012
Two repurposed Mac Minis, always on. A dedicated high-availability remote development server, a GitHub Actions runner, Jellyfin, and ephemeral VMs for CTF setups and one-off testing.
Quorum Device
Raspberry Pi
Not a full cluster node — the Pi runs as a Proxmox QDevice, giving the cluster a tie-breaking vote so quorum survives even with an even node count. It also carries its own always-on service stack below.
Always-On Services
Raspberry Pi
Storage
OpenMediaVault
DIY NAS. Central storage for the homelab, backing Jellyfin and Transmission downloads on the Mac Minis.
Network
Pi-hole
Network-level ad and tracker blocking for every device on the home network. Doubles as a local DNS resolver.
Proxy
Nginx Proxy Manager
Reverse proxy with automatic SSL for all internal services. Clean subdomains without exposing port numbers.
Containers
Portainer
Container management UI for deploying and monitoring Docker services without full orchestration overhead.
Surveillance
Frigate
IP camera recording and motion detection. Local storage, no cloud subscription.
Downloads
Transmission
Torrent client with a web UI. Downloads land on the OpenMediaVault share, picked up by Jellyfin automatically.
Monitoring
Jellystat
Watch-history and usage stats for Jellyfin. Who's watching what, and how the media server is actually used.
Automation
Home Assistant
Home automation hub tying together smart devices around the house into one dashboard and rule engine.
